There are an endless number of LGBTQ Bars & Clubs in Florida. It reeks of deception. The best thing about living in Florida is that locals live where you vacation. I've lodged a complaint with corporate about this classic bait and switch tactic. In fact, the bartender said she thought they WERE hosting bingo, but she just recently learned that the bingo host was MIA. There is no fine print saying that they don't have specials if they aren't hosting bingo. You should charge what your marketing and promotional posters say you charge. In fact, it's not only poor business practice, but I believe it to be downright illegal. As a local, I love supporting downtown businesses, but this didn't sit well with me. This, despite their signs throughout the establishment advertising their Wednesday specials.

When I questioned my large bill at checkout, they informed me that they weren't honoring the drink specials because the bingo guy was out of town for the holidays. After coming in on a Wednesday night recently with a large group of out-of-town guests, I was disappointed to learn that not only did they not have weekly bingo (unannounced on any of their platforms), but they did not honor the drink specials for the night (1/2 of draft cocktails and 1/2 off select draft beers, as posted). Unfortunately, my love affair with this place is over. Update: Came back again and ordered a steak and the beef ribs. That is a major disappointment outside an overall good experience. I would give it five stars but they have pornographic pictures in the men’s bathroom which is terrible for all men but especially when bringing kids to the restaurant and makes me never want to return. People come here for the dollars stapled on the walls, for the alcoholic beverages, and for the unique pub decor, but ultimately the consistent food is what gets the return customers. I tried on this trip the fish Po boy pictured below (9.99), which was decent and served with home made chips, but not as great as some of their other dishes like the amazing Reuben they make, the fish and chips, their steaks, and the famous senate bean soup which is only 18 cents if you have another purchase. These burgers are massive and never disappoint with the fresh ingredient and large potato wedge fries served alongside them. They have a consistent steak burger (12.99) pictured below with a multitude of different topping combinations to choose from.
